Roller Compacted Concrete

Roller compacted concrete (RCC) pavements for vehicular traffic is a new construction method for hard surfacing. RCC is a zero slump concrete and is placed with modified asphalt pavers with tamping bars, compacted with vibrating steel drum and rubber tire rollers. It is a concrete pavement without expansion joints and reinforcing steel.

RCC is the latest state-of-the-art in new pavement construction.
